Hotel Reviews by Travelers for Travelers

When choosing hotels, most of us filter the result based on our budget and the hotel's location. More often than not, travel search engines or aggregators will give us more than one result. What then? How should we choose?
Well, we can always look at pictures and read the hotel's website. Of course, we'd only see flowery descriptions and pictures (with great lighting!) of their best rooms. No hotel would openly say that something could be wrong with their facilities or the service they offer.
So... the best would be too look at sites where we can read reviews of fellow travelers. Unbiased opinions and, if we are lucky, real pictures taken without any lighting trick.
One such site (which Kinkaa links to for reference via the "read review" link) is TripAdvisor. With over 5 million reviews and opinions about hotels located all over the world, Trip Advisor will definitely be a good site for us to use as a cross reference before we make our choice.
