Before I start typing away, I want you to know that I plan to let TJ write the serious updates on this blog. Because I... well, I'd rather concentrate on the fun side of Kinkaa.

Today, we're going to check the possibilities of getting a flight or vacation package for Thanksgiving. With everyone else trying to get away during the same dates, this search will definitely be a challenge.
Thanksgiving Day is on the 23rd of November. Which means that PEAK travel times will be on the 22nd (Wednesday before Thanksgiving) and the 26th (Sunday after; when everyone will be heading back home).
Sample peak travel route would be from Los Angeles Intl. (LAX), Los Angeles to John F Kennedy Intl (JFK), New York, USA on the 22nd; return flight is on the 26th of November.
RESULT: The cheapest that I found was $629 for American West, with a stop in Las Vegas. The return flight has 2 stops: Las Vegas and Phoenix, with the Las Vegas-Phoenix route using US Airways.
Yes, all the good deals have already been snapped up by travelers who searched for flights way before we did. It is the 3rd of November, after all. Late!
Another option would be to fly on the day itself or the day after (time when everyone is already where they want to be) and return the day after everyone else has returned). So, let's see what's available for the same route but leaving on the 23rd and returning on the 28th.
RESULT: It would only cost you $288 using the same airline, America West or $291 with US Airways. This means that you will save $341 if you change your travel dates!
But, if you'd rather spend that money on doing something more, why not take advantage of the deals for travel to Europe?
RESULT: If you book a package trip to Paris, France during the Peak travel times, you only need to pay $910 per person. Which means that you only need to add $281 more to be able to fly AND stay in Paris.
See what I mean? The dates and destination of travel during the busiest holiday in America could make or break your budget.
Should you have other destination or dates in mind, go ahead and play around with Kinkaa to find the best travel deal possible.
